What I collect, and what I don’t

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no tracking pixels. The only personal information I hold is what you choose to type into the project form.

Who is responsible

I am Chan Kim, an independent web designer in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines. I am the data controller for this site. You can reach me at chan@chankimph.com about anything on this page.

What the form collects

If you send a project brief, the form asks for:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your business name
• Your current website, if you have one
• The type of project and the investment range you selected
• Whatever you write in the description

Nothing on the form is collected without you typing it. There are no hidden fields gathering anything else.

Why I hold it, and for how long

I use it for one thing: to read your enquiry and reply to it. I do not sell it, share it, add it to a mailing list, or use it for advertising.

If the enquiry becomes a project, I keep it with the project records for as long as I am working with you and for a reasonable period afterwards for tax and accounting purposes. If it does not become a project, ask me and I will delete it.

Where it goes

The site is hosted on Netlify. Form submissions are stored in Netlify’s form service and emailed to me. Netlify processes this on my behalf and, like any host, records standard server logs including IP addresses.

The other things your browser loads

Three things on this site are served by other companies. None of them set cookies here, but each one sees your IP address because your browser requests a file from them:

• Google Fonts serves the typeface
• cdnjs and jsDelivr serve the animation libraries

That is unavoidable for any site loading a file from another domain, and it is the full extent of it. No profiles, no cross-site tracking, nothing following you afterwards.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, and under the GDPR if you are in the UK or EU, you can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email chan@chankimph.com and I will action it. There is no form to fill in and no charge.

If you are in the Philippines and you think I have handled your data badly, you can also complain to the National Privacy Commission.

Children

This is a business site for business owners. It is not aimed at children and I do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no archive of old versions, so if the wording matters to you, keep a copy.
